Mission Accomplished!
Our annual signature event: The Latina Leadership Forum: "TRANSFORMATION THROUGH EDUCATION" on October 14, was a tremendous success!
Attendees said they were "Inspired", "Motivated", "Moved to tears of joy", "Excited about the future in the present moment!" "Education IS the KEY to our future, as a community and as a nation." "We look forward to 100 Hispanic Women of Westchester's next event!"
LLF 2011, featured a Luncheon, Speaker Panel with Q & A, Business Expo, Exhibitors, Networking, and Scholarship Awards. Event was held at the Doubletree Hotel, Tarrytown, NY
The LLF program is comprised of educational forums designed to inspire and challenge Latinas and women of all ages to maximize their strengths and achieve their leadership potential.
We are also presented Scholarships to Hispanic female students who have shown academic achievement, and financial need, to help fund their goal of a college education.
This year's LLF proved to be exciting, informative and of value to everyone.
The featured Latina speakers shared their personal story and the impact education has had on their lives, careers and families.
Attendees of the LLF, 2011 were women and Latinas between the ages of 17 - 50+, working professionals, male and female, as well as high school and college students from Westchester County, and all over the New York Metropolitan area.
We thank everyone that supported and participated in this important event for women and Latinas.
